If Claudinho Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercole Giordano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wesley Teles's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 20 played minutes, October 04's Claudinho Antunes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ercole Giordano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Ercole Giordano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wesley Teles's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. When Wesley Teles came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wesley Teles couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Broom of the System DA13's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Paes came free, but Ercole Giordano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Ruy Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Wesley Teles made a precise shot to the right of Ercole Giordano. Broom of the System DA13's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bianco Iachini was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Broom of the System DA13's Bianco Iachini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davi Couto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Bianco Iachini might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davi Couto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ercole Giordano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulo Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of October 04 booed when Broom of the System DA13 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Raiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Fabinho Falcão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ercole Giordano skillfully saved the ball. Broom of the System DA13's Ercole Giordano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Teles in the 90th minute of play. Wesley Teles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Ercole Giordano when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
