One of F.C SBG DTR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Botafogo AP:s goal. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 12th minute, where Botafogo AP:s Clóvis das Neves tricked F.C SBG DTR:s Calistrat Ivașcu with a difficult ball by the left post. 15 minutes into the match, F.C SBG DTR's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Trigo came free, but Calistrat Ivașcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Ivașcu stood somewhat misplaced when André Luís Trigo came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. When Botafogo AP's André Luís Trigo in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The score was now 4-0. 41 minutes into the game, Botafogo AP's André Luís Trigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calistrat Ivașcu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 46 played minutes F.C SBG DTR got a freekick which was hit by Gică Bourceanu. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 50 played minutes F.C SBG DTR got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Crușeveanu. In the 65th minute, André Luís Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Calistrat Ivașcu. F.C SBG DTR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Clemente Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calistrat Ivașcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes of play, Botafogo AP's André Luís Trigo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Ivașcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Calistrat Ivașcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Trigo in the 76th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Ivan Crușeveanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C SBG DTR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Botafogo AP the free kick. In the 82nd minute André Luís Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Ivașcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calistrat Ivașcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, F.C SBG DTR's Cristinel Stoian got a free kick in the 86th minute. Botafogo AP's Humberto Maia was substituted for André Luís Trigo. In the 88th match minute, F.C SBG DTR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Stoian to maneuver through the defense. Botafogo AP walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
