The Brufoss IL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Percy Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Markham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Markham in the 16th minute of play forced Botafogo AP's goalkeeper Percy Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Emanuel Markham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Percy Reis. Botafogo AP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Markham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Brufoss IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Remme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percy Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Markhams short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Percy Reis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Percy Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Remme in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

After 51 minutes, Emanuel Markham made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Botafogo AP's Percy Reis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Brufoss IL's Kent Remme got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Markham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emanuel Markham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Reis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Christer Hustad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brufoss IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Hustad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percy Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Botafogo AP's Mané Souza was substituted for Clóvis das Neves. Kai Østbye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Botafogo AP's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Saltnes came free, but Percy Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Rune Saltnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Percy Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kai Østbye's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute Kent Remme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Markham in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percy Reis saved Botafogo AP from getting behind. Emanuel Markham succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. Kai Østbye kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Botafogo AP's Percy Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai Østbye in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Brufoss IL's Jan-Kenneth Heistad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percy Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Brufoss IL walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
