After having played for 19 minutes, Jerry Classon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Undertakers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerry Classon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Erik Stephansson in the 20th minute of play forced Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalkeeper Andrzej Köpke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altino Lameirinhas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrzej Köpke having to make a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludomil Wos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Undertakers FC's Ace Mace played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Skirzynski in the 52nd minute of play. Undertakers FC's Altino Lameirinhas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Andrzej Köpke got control of the ball when Jens-Erik Stephansson tried to sneak it across the goal line.
