Horácio Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Orlandus having to interfere. Victor Orlandus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Paulo Paes's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Paulo Paes in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Orlandus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. October 04's Narciso Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Asier in the 17th minute of play. Pedro Paulo Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Victor Orlandus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Guillelme's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Narciso Guimarães firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 25thth minute of the game Pedro Paulo Paes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALEMCA's Victor Orlandus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When October 04's Horácio Aguiar in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ALEMCA's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, ALEMCA's Rolando Paio got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Paulo Paes made a kick off. ALEMCA's Victor Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Paes in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Paes in the 55th minute of play forced ALEMCA's goalkeeper Victor Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd play minute Pedro Paulo Paes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Victor Orlandus. 0-4. ALEMCA's Rolando Paio got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute Eustacio Gaizko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Paulo Paes in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victor Orlandus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Aguiar got free with Victor Orlandus in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Paulo Paes in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Orlandus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Paulo Paes in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Orlandus saved ALEMCA from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Pedro Paulo Paes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The October 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The supporters of October 04 booed when ALEMCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Pedro Paulo Paes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. October 04 played a much better game than ALEMCA and deserved their victory. The ALEMCA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
