Durvalino Albuquerque was slow to take the kick. During this time October 04's players had a chance to rest. Pedro Paulo Paes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Peruzzi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Pedro Paulo Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A nice corner shot did that Durvalino Albuquerque got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angelo Peruzzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pedro Paulo Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when October 04's Horácio Aguiar fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Narciso Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerry Scotti in the 37th minute of the match. Narciso Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Fiordelisi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, PowerHawKings's Davide Preda got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Horácio Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Angelo Peruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerry Scotti to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes PowerHawKings got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Lepre. A collision led to PowerHawKings getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Emiliano Cesaroni hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Di Berardino came free, but Narciso Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to October 04 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Horácio Aguiar hit a great ball. Angelo Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Aguiar in the 63rd minute of the match. Wilian Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Peruzzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horácio Aguiar in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Peruzzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilian Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Peruzzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to PowerHawKings getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alessio Fiordelisi hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes PowerHawKings got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Montini. In the 76th minute Wilian Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Paes in the 83rd minute of play forced PowerHawKings's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 played minutes PowerHawKings got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Scotti. Emiliano Cesaroni hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Wilian Alcântara took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Peruzzi. Angelo Peruzzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 95th minute, Alessio Fiordelisi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
