Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Markham started the match with the kick off. Kai Østbye could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Daniel Jienescu made a huge save. Borys Witek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Gaúcho in the 10th minute of the match. Borys Witek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Vişoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Christer Hustad fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brufoss IL's protests and gave Christer Hustad a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Christer Hustad. Brufoss IL were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after GoalHunters's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christer Ribe took the corner. After taking down the ball on Brufoss IL's corner Christer Ribe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Jienescu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd minute Kent Remme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brufoss IL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christer Ribe in the 34th minute. Brufoss IL's Christer Ribe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Jienescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Gaúcho in the 35th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Østbye in the 38th minute of play forced GoalHunters's goalkeeper Daniel Jienescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute João Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Witek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If João Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Gaúcho to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Emanuel Markham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Østbye to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Jienescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Ribe in the 57th minute of play. Călin Pătrășconiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Borys Witek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borys Witek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Vişoiu in the 64th minute of play. If Emanuel Markham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brufoss IL's Kajetan Kazimierz was substituted for Kevin Strømsnes. Borys Witek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Vişoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Markham in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Jienescu saved GoalHunters from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Emanuel Markham put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Jienescu. The audience was convinced that João Gaúcho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borys Witek was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Kai Østbye ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Jienescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Brufoss IL were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of GoalHunters for a fine match.
