Christos Agathoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazaros Serdaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Anastasios Politakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoforos Zografos, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Anastasios Politakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jassem Al Khars's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Patras F.C.'s Lazaros Serdaris made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christos Agathoulis was left in no man's land by his defense there! P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Anastasios Politakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoforos Zografos in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Bilge Bartu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apostolos Moisiadis to strike the kick off in the second half. The P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Konstantinos Kavaliaratos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Christos Agathoulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Apostolos Moisiadis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christos Agathoulis having to make a save. After some careless play in the Trifillia.FC defense, Konstantinos Kavaliaratos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christos Agathoulis. The Trifillia.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christos Agathoulis should have stopped the shot. Vaggelis Kalpis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Anastasios Politakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Kalpis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lazaros Serdaris scored 9-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christos Agathoulis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Trifillia.FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
