Placido Pero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Libertad in the 16th minute of the match. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Bochini in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Dep Colonia Avellaneda getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Pascual Lesardo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Donato Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Bernaldo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Bochini, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ripa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Placido Pero in the 31st minute. The corner led Ripa FC's Ricardo Bochini to fire away a dangerous shot which Victoriano Bernaldo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ricardo Bochini scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Dep Colonia Avellaneda booed when Ripa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ripa FC made a substitution. Gu Chang Peng replaced Donato Torres. After a rather tough play, Ripa FC's Placido Pero got a free kick in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darryl Buckner made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gu Chang Peng. After 54 minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Placido Pero who took care of the corner kick. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gu Chang Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Placido Pero was slow to take the kick. During this time Ripa FC's players had a chance to rest. But to his dismay, Gu Chang Peng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gu Chang Peng took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Bernaldo. Victoriano Bernaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Buckner in the 71st minute of play. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Rosa in the 75th minute of the match. Alvaro Jakes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Ripa FC's Gu Chang Peng ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victoriano Bernaldo. Victoriano Bernaldo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Gu Chang Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Victoriano Bernaldo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 89th minute of the match Ripa FC got a corner. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Smith Wigglesworth ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gu Chang Peng might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Bernaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gu Chang Peng ran back to his position shaking his head. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gu Chang Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes in the game Vasile Tufescu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mariano Silbestre. Aldo Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Ripa FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
