In the 3rd minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Rios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Bernaldo having to make a save. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 12th minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Bernaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Rios's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Lino Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darryl Buckner in the 21st minute of the match. Lino Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Bernaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darryl Buckner in the 29th minute of the match. Santo Libertad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Lino Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Rios to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Pascual Lesardo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Lino Rios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Victoriano Bernaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Rosa in the 57th minute of the match. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Libertad in the 58th minute of play. A well placed Lino Rios short distance shot in the 66th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. If Darryl Buckner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Darryl Buckner made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Eztebe. AFC FUSION's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Christoff Stocks replaced Lino Rios. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Rosa in the 78th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute of the match AFC FUSION got a corner. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dawid Beckham ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dawid Beckham almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo did a great save. In the 83rd minute Santo Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Christoff Stocks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aureliano Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Bernaldo. That made the score 1-3 after 93 minutes of play. The AFC FUSION players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
