56 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Mendebal came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Los Materos FC's protests and gave Filomeno Mendebal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Filomeno Mendebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Mendebal scored 1-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Eztebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Los Materos FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Braulio Milian hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the game Mariano Ugaitz made a throw-in which Braulio Milian played forward. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tincho Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
