Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axl Rose started the match with the kick off. Nova Iguaçu MZFC were furious when Deivid Queirós was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Deivid Queirós hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Mauro de Salles was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Axl Rose capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Axl Rose really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 14th minute, César Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dudu Queiroz during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Dudu Queiroz. Mauro de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axl Rose in the 16th minute of the match. Mauro de Salles made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Gerard Way sent off a good shot on target. Mauro de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Bittor in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Jailson de Carvalho. In the 26thth minute of the game Axl Rose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mauro de Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Bittor came free, but Mauro de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson de Carvalho in the 34th minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Way in the 35th minute of play forced Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Mauro de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mauro de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilson Vidal in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santos Hori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro de Salles came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Howling Dawn U18's Axl Rose. But to his dismay, Axl Rose quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Uriel Lauren in the 44th minute really tested Mauro de Salles's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

In the 51st minute, Axl Rose left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Howling Dawn U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Moises Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Howling Dawn U18's Santos Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Vidal in the 57th minute of play. Mauro de Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Bittor went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dalmo Rocha was substituted for Telmo Barbosa. Santos Hori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Axl Rose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro de Salles having to interfere. Howling Dawn U18's Astor Manilan was substituted for Juan Bittor. Baltasar Walme scored 5-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro de Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Walme in the 87th minute of play forced Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Mauro de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Scott Weiland came free, but Mauro de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Scott Weiland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mauro de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Manilan in the 93rd minute of play. Elias Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
