Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Bencivenni in the 22nd minute of the match. Fabio Bencivenni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Wilhelm having to interfere. In the 27th minute Albino Peruanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amir Lee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolland Hobbs hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Barlas Aydın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amir Lee was the one to do the kick off. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Azevedo in the 51st minute of play. Atahan Balon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amir Lee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Dario Wilhelm managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Los Muchachos del 86's Fabio Bencivenni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 59th minute Waldo Renteria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Allen Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Soon in the 65th minute of play. Beto Márcico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Dario Wilhelm made a huge save. Jamar Orlinsky hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Lee in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Rolland Hobbs came free, but Atahan Balon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Bencivenni, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
