Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alessio Borrelli made the kick off which started today's match. Óscar Cordoba came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Quebracho FC's German Liher. But to his dismay, German Liher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Bilintx in the 5th minute of play forced Quebracho FC's goalkeeper Alexander Van Houdtvinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Van Houdtvinck made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Matias Bilintx sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute, Venancio Emesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Alessio Borrelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Nicanor Flores notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba. Óscar Cordoba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quebracho FC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Sporting de Gijón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yin Hong Fan took the corner. The corner led Quebracho FC's Yin Hong Fan to fire away a dangerous shot which Óscar Cordoba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when Quebracho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Borrelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Van Houdtvinck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Emesto in the 34th minute. Óscar Cordoba came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Quebracho FC's Alessio Borrelli. But to his dismay, Alessio Borrelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Carlo Crema kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Yin Hong Fan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Óscar Cordoba. Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Nicanor Flores came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Quebracho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Flores couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Bilintx to make the kick off. Diego Maradona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Van Houdtvinck having to interfere. Alexander Van Houdtvinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Maradona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Óscar Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Borrelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Alessio Borrelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rdth minute of the game Alejandro Rufo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quebracho FC's Alexander Van Houdtvinck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Van Houdtvinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Matias Bilintx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Van Houdtvinck. Quebracho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Bilintx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Quebracho FC's Nereo Florian was substituted for Nicanor Flores. Sporting de Gijón's Kauan de Barros was substituted for Atilano Feo. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Yi Yuan in the 78th minute of play forced Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Wayne Rooney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Florian. In the 86th minute Nereo Florian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, He Yi Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Óscar Cordoba. Sporting de Gijón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that He Yi Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Alexander Van Houdtvinck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Zanabria in the 94th minute of the match. The Quebracho FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quebracho FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
