Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matias Bilintx got the match started through his kick off. Óscar Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Óscar Cordoba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Aznar went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Matias Bilintxs short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Esteban José Andrada to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Txilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting de Gijón's Saturnino Curcio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Esteban José Andrada but with some difficulty. Óscar Cordoba came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Guansa's Eloy Aznar. But to his dismay, Eloy Aznar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Óscar Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Sandalio in the 16th minute of play. Guansa's Esteban José Andrada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Guansa from getting a goal against them. Sporting de Gijón's Saturnino Curcio got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Óscar Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Aznar in the 22nd minute of play. Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Sandalio in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Guansa's Aaron Sandalio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Óscar Cordoba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Óscar Cordoba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Aznar went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aaron Sandalio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Óscar Cordoba having to make a save. In the 40th minute Eloy Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuan Lin Shi kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Óscar Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aaron Sandalio made the kick off in the second half. Esteban José Andrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Bilintx in the 51st minute of play. Esteban José Andrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Maradona in the 52nd minute of the match. Sporting de Gijón's Venancio Emesto was substituted for Alejandro Rufo. In the 70th match minute, Guansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Sandalio to maneuver through the defense. Óscar Cordoba was a little too slow when Eloy Aznar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-5. In the 75th minute, Eloy Aznar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Maradona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Esteban José Andrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sporting de Gijón's Venancio Emesto in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guansa's goalie prevented a goal. Aaron Sandalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Bilintx came free, but Esteban José Andrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Matias Bilintx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting de Gijón's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Bilintx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban José Andrada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute Matias Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban José Andrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Venancio Emesto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban José Andrada was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 96th minute Sporting de Gijón were awarded a corner. Gabriel Diaz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Guansa's goalie and right to Venancio Emesto. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Guansa's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
