Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC St. Pauli's Jacinto Munhoz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Wallace in the 3rd minute of play forced FC St. Pauli's goalkeeper Basílio Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Fred Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC St. Pauli's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jacinto Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Jacinto Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC St. Pauli's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basílio Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley Wallace in the 16th minute of play. Eduardo Morenos short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Bruno Barrett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jordan Porter hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rocco Owen hit a great ball. After 33 minutes, Stanley Wallace mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the FC St. Pauli players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Stanley Wallace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Harvey Doyle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC St. Pauli the free kick. In the 40th minute, Jacinto Munhoz made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FC St. Pauli's Jacinto Munhoz. But to his dismay, Jacinto Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Davies was the one to do the kick off. Fred Urbano hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Oséias Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC St. Pauli's Basílio Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Wallace in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Jacinto Munhoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Munhoz in the 69th minute of play. Rocco Owen's late challenge caught a FC St. Pauli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rocco Owen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Rocco Owen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oséias Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC St. Pauli. 76 minutes into the game, Oséias Sergipano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Schmidt in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Munhoz in the 88th minute of the match. If Fred Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Troy Kennedy charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Troy Kennedy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Troy Kennedy hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Munhoz in the 96th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC St. Pauli fully deserved thier win.
