Beltxe Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Pinturas Coronado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. 18 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when C.J. Sharp came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinturas Coronado's 王适伟 got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beltxe Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With an all-out effort, Pinturas Coronado's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ulryk Barowicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 66th minute of play forced Pinturas Coronado's goalkeeper Beltxe Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulryk Barowicz's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pinturas Coronado:s Beltxe Balboa showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
