The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Martelli City Club getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Generoso Esquipula hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Jose Carita with Isidoro Sarmiento as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Korneliusz Lizewski lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Martelli City Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Panama:s goal. Abraham Alguacil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Grant Muro. Martelli City Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafin Bonadona. Grant Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. Grant Muro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grant Muro. Martelli City Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Grant Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 38th minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Bonadona in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Martelli City Club's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Grant Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Bonadona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 52nd minute of play forced Martelli City Club's goalkeeper Grant Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grant Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 57th minute of play. Grant Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Grant Muro. Isidoro Sarmiento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grant Muro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Serafin Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Barrios during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. Martelli City Club's Valdo Vabamüürlane was substituted for Serafin Bonadona. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 68th minute. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Vabamüürlane in the 70th minute of the match. Valdo Vabamüürlane kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. After 75 minutes of play, Martelli City Club's Miguel Luix made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Sarmiento took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grant Muro. Grant Muro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. With a little luck, Martelli City Club's Grant Muro got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento scored 1-7 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grant Muro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Luix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Martelli City Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
