Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Baldomero Lehen made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Paquidermo de Luxe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Paquidermo de Luxe's Jeronimo Felo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 5th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Tristan got free with Dante Lacasa in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Aurelio Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Seme in the 25th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeronimo Felo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Paquidermo de Luxe's Everardo Eli got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeronimo Felo. Paquidermo de Luxe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 35th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Felo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paquidermo de Luxe's Jeronimo Felo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jeronimo Felo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Tristan in the 45th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Felo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 47th minute. Facundo Cadaval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Felo having to interfere. A collision led to Paquidermo de Luxe getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lázaro Isaio hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Felo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Seme hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Wilfredo Seme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Jeronimo Felo made a huge save. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Tristan in the 73rd minute of the match. Paquidermo de Luxe made a substitution. Hilario Barea replaced Leandro Garaile. Paquidermo de Luxe's Eusebio Erasto was substituted for Everardo Eli. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Paquidermo de Luxe fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Paquidermo de Luxe's Baldomero Lehen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Felo was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
