Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Figueroa got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Timo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Timo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Jonas Figueroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 17 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnulfo Otsando who took care of the corner kick. In the 20th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Timo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Aquiles Guerrero in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Luca Espinar. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Arnulfo Otsando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Jonas Figueroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Timo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Rufián's Arnulfo Otsando slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 2-1 after 33 minutes of play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. When Jonas Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Rufián fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Figueroa couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Rufián's Arnulfo Otsando ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After 46 played minutes Rufián got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Kinsen. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Figueroa was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabian Timo. Edmundo Espiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Fabian Timo made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Aquiles Guerrero in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. After 63 minutes, Sebastian Villa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Rufián players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Figueroa in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Figueroa in the 67th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Bordat hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rufián's Benedicto Evangelista was substituted for Jonas Figueroa. 73 minutes into the game, Aquiles Guerrero threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Fabian Timo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 75th minute Arnulfo Otsando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Rufián's Miguel Veto was substituted for Eduardo Paulin. Rufián made a substitution. Godofredo Gabon replaced Lino Jerardo. The supporters of Rufián booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Otsando in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aquiles Guerrero in the 89 minute of the game. Serafin Garaona hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rufián had won after a very even match.
