In the 56th minute of the match Gaspar Salbatore sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horacio Vitin skillfully saved the ball. After 65 minutes of play, Cremonese's Sixto Ralondo made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbano Tono was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Niva in the 77th minute of play forced Eibar 09-12-18's goalkeeper Urbano Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Eguen's late challenge caught a Eibar 09-12-18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
