When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Justo Clementi sped through 20 DE SETEMBRO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hélder de Queiroz. 12 minutes into the match, Benito Urbez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hélder de Queiroz, 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Urbez came free, but Hélder de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Clóvis Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the 20 DE SETEMBRO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Corrêa couldn't finish the play. Gaspar Salomone kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Niceto Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Neves in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match 20 DE SETEMBRO got a corner. El ultimo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yuri Vieira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Clóvis Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder de Queiroz was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Benito Urbez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benito Urbez really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Justo Clementi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Hélder de Queiroz made a huge save. Alessandro Neves struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Niceto Pere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 20 DE SETEMBRO. 47 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Clóvis Corrêa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niceto Pere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro Neves made a kick off. El ultimo's Niceto Pere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save El ultimo from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Clementi came free, but Hélder de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder de Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Clementi's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Justo Clementi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Hélder de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Felipillo in the 64th minute of play forced 20 DE SETEMBRO's goalkeeper Hélder de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Clementi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 75th minute, Alessandro Neves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Niceto Pere. The goal made the score 3-1. In the 81st minute, El ultimo's Santos Bertol seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Santos Bertol the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of El ultimo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Santos Bertol had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Federico Louis kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Alessandro Neves came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the 20 DE SETEMBRO fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Felipillo in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder de Queiroz saved 20 DE SETEMBRO from getting behind. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Hélder de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Clementi in the 93rd minute of play. Gaspar Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Diego Belo fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El ultimo's protests and gave Diego Belo a yellow card for diving instead. 97 minutes into the game, Gaspar Salomone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El ultimo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 20 DE SETEMBRO the free kick. Gaspar Salomone hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
