After 16 played minutes, Ascacibar-Pérez's Niceto Joey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olaf Bugno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ascacibar-Pérez reached it. Olaf Bugno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Vela's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Zenon Majerowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ladislao Endira made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ismael Vela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olaf Bugno was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Ismael Vela put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Olaf Bugno. When Cristo Niguel fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ascacibar-Pérez's protests and gave Cristo Niguel a yellow card for diving instead. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zenon Majerowicz to make the kick off. Dariusz Oryl hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Cielii FC's Olaf Bugno got control of the ball when Jesus Petrigai tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes Cielii FC got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Wawrukiewicz. Daniel Rydzyk kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
