Ismael Vela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Maureo having to interfere. In the 8th minute Bruno Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Endira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Maureo made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Jesus Petrigai sent off a good shot on target. Ladislao Endira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Maraman went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Ascacibar-Pérez defense, Jimeno Lizbeth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ladislao Endira. The Ascacibar-Pérez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Endira should have stopped the shot. Jesus Petrigai struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ovidio Maureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascacibar-Pérez. Ladislao Endira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Maraman, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 42 minutes, Eliseo Ralondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Ben Hur and the Ascacibar-Pérez players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sportivo Ben Hur getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eliseo Ralondo hit a great ball. The Ascacibar-Pérez players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sportivo Ben Hur were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Vela to make the kick off. Jimeno Lizbeth's late challenge caught a Ascacibar-Pérez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Lizbeth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Felix Malvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Ruy got free with Ladislao Endira in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the game, Bruno Maraman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ladislao Endira. Bruno Maraman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Ladislao Endira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Maraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ismael Vela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ascacibar-Pérez's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Vela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 minutes of play Sportivo Ben Hur's Jimeno Lizbeth was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Igon during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Alejandro Igon got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Bruno Maraman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ladislao Endira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Alejandro Igon got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd match minute, Sportivo Ben Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Igon to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Tancredo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ladislao Endira came out and tried to block the shot, but Desiderio Tancredo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 87th minute.
