Primitivo Sadurni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válter Neto went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Válter Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Primitivo Sadurni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Dedê Mineiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Primitivo Sadurni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Primitivo Sadurni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Válter Neto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Walmyr Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Gabirel in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Edinho Pitta got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Dedê Mineiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yo Soy Tu Padre's Primitivo Sadurni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Prospero Walme made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 20 DE SETEMBRO's Edinho Pitta. Gilberto Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as 20 DE SETEMBRO's Gilberto Moreira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Primitivo Sadurni. That made the score 3-1 after 37 minutes of play. A collision led to Yo Soy Tu Padre getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Bianco Garcia hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Gilberto Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Gabirel to make the kick off. Dedê Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Primitivo Sadurni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yo Soy Tu Padre's Domingos Amaya got a free kick in the 55th minute. Marcelo Adrio kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Bianco Garcia's late challenge caught a 20 DE SETEMBRO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bianco Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yo Soy Tu Padre's Bianco Garcia got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Gilberto Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Gilberto Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Sadurni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Clóvis Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 20 DE SETEMBRO's protests and gave Clóvis Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes 20 DE SETEMBRO got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Corrêa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Válter Neto in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Primitivo Sadurni saved Yo Soy Tu Padre from getting behind. Primitivo Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Moreira in the 77th minute of play. Gilberto Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Sadurni having to interfere. Prospero Walme charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Walme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Yo Soy Tu Padre's Prospero Walme got a free kick in the 85th minute. Dedê Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Primitivo Sadurni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Moreira scored 4-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Primitivo Sadurni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 20 DE SETEMBRO had played much better football throughout.
