The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Murcia Promesas got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Negro. 9 minutes into the game, Válter Neto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tancredo Griful. Válter Neto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 15th minute Desiderio Erosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalberto Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Grau in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Edinho Pitta got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Galo Segura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adalberto Toledo was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Erosa came free, but Adalberto Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, 20 DE SETEMBRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Neto to maneuver through the defense. When Galo Segura came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Murcia Promesas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Galo Segura couldn't finish the play. In the 26th match minute, Murcia Promesas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo Palacios to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Palacios came free, but Adalberto Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Timo Palacios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes 20 DE SETEMBRO got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Pitta. Desiderio Erosa hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Murcia Promesas's Ariel Domenech got a free kick in the 35th minute. Válter Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tancredo Griful tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adalberto Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Erosa in the 38th minute of the match. Murcia Promesas's Tancredo Griful proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Murcia Promesas from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Romo Cazorla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adalberto Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a little luck, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Adalberto Toledo got control of the ball when Antonio Erosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antonio Erosa scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adalberto Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edinho Pitta hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Adalberto Toledo was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Ariel Domenech capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ariel Domenech really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Tancredo Griful showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Adalberto Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Palacios in the 76th minute of play. 20 DE SETEMBRO's attentive Válter Neto managed to snatch the ball when Ariel Domenech made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Adalberto Toledo came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Murcia Promesas's Antonio Erosa. But to his dismay, Antonio Erosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. With an all-out effort, Murcia Promesas's Adalberto Toledo threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Desiderio Erosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adalberto Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Erosa in the 93rd minute. Adalberto Toledo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Desiderio Erosa sent off a good shot on target. The 20 DE SETEMBRO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Murcia Promesas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
