Aris Tsobanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Erosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demis Tavanopoulos hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Aris Tsobanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Palacios in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Antonopoulos. In the 10th minute of the match Antonio Erosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aris Tsobanis skillfully saved the ball. Dimos Vranis lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.! In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Murcia Promesas. Licerio Lacorte stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aris Tsobanis. 0-1. Galo Segura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Tsobanis having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Erosa in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aris Tsobanis saved P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timo Palacios in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aris Tsobanis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute Timo Palacios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aris Tsobanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Aris Tsobanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Palacios in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Timo Palacios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Murcia Promesas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 45th minute, Timo Palacios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aris Tsobanis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timo Palacios to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Murcia Promesas's Desiderio Erosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aris Tsobanis. That made the score 0-5 after 51 minutes of play. In the 56th minute, Murcia Promesas's Ramón Grau ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aris Tsobanis. Aris Tsobanis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 61 minutes into the match, P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Erosa came free, but Aris Tsobanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Akis Christatos got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Aris Tsobanis came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Murcia Promesas's Timo Palacios. But to his dismay, Timo Palacios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Timo Palacios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Aris Tsobanis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Erosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Aris Tsobanis made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Lucio Rivera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute of the match Akis Christatos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tancredo Griful skillfully saved the ball. In the last second Aris Tsobanis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Timo Palacios in the 81stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 82nd minute of the match Murcia Promesas got a corner. P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Licerio Lacorte ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Murcia Promesas's Licerio Lacorte to fire away a dangerous shot which Aris Tsobanis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. From a short distance, Murcia Promesas's Timo Palacios, in the 84th minute, tried to place the ball behind Aris Tsobanis, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Desiderio Erosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murcia Promesas's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Erosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aris Tsobanis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Aris Tsobanis got control of the ball when Ramón Grau tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timo Palacios got free with Aris Tsobanis in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Murcia Promesas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than P.A.O.K. Patras F.C..
