FC Fanaticii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. the free kick. In the 9th minute, Avram Prunaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Ermis Karezis in the 11th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Emanuel Giurcă's left hand side. FC Fanaticii's Emanuel Giurcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotiris Panagiotopoulos in the 13th minute of play. In the 21st minute Marius Ganea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aris Tsobanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Fanaticii's Marius Ganea in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Mugurel Bărăian got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Marius Ganea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aris Tsobanis. Marius Ganea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A collision led to P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Demis Tavanopoulos hit a great ball. The supporters of P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Bărăian didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Francisc Ciocâlteu from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Aris Tsobanis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marius Ganea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sotiris Panagiotopoulos was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Dimos Vranis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimos Vranis to maneuver through the defense. Aris Tsobanis came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Fanaticii's Marius Ganea. But to his dismay, Marius Ganea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Adrian Jitaru put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aris Tsobanis. Adrian Jitaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aris Tsobanis having to make a save. 68 minutes into the game, Adrian Jitaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Aris Tsobanis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the match, P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Nanu came free, but Aris Tsobanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aris Tsobanis came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Fanaticii's Șerban Nanu. But to his dismay, Șerban Nanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The audience was convinced that Mugurel Bărăian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aris Tsobanis was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Aris Tsobanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Nanu in the 89th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiros Siomos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s zone, Șerban Nanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aris Tsobanis came out of the goal and Șerban Nanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Aris Tsobanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Jitaru in the 97th minute of play.
