With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Socorro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Flavio Cifuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vladimiro Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Flavio Cifuentes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimiro Socorro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in El ultimo's zone, Roldan Castellanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Socorro came out of the goal and Roldan Castellanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Cifuentes was the one to do the kick off. When Taltum FC's Flavio Cifuentes in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 63rd minute, El ultimo's Teo Cordero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Obregón Pardemanos in the 67th minute of play forced El ultimo's goalkeeper Vladimiro Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored El ultimo's protests and gave Eliseo Bernabel a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes El ultimo got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Bernabel. Vladimiro Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espinosa Marco in the 93rd minute of the match.
