After 4 minutes, Flavio Cifuentes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. New Team's Caicedo Arrugueta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Andres Tufiño made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by New Team's Cristobal Quiles. A hard, long distance shot from Di Le Jun flew over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Cifuentes in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caicedo Arrugueta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Taltum FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Taltum FC's Flavio Cifuentes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Caicedo Arrugueta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Cifuentes's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Flavio Cifuentes put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Caicedo Arrugueta. Caicedo Arrugueta came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Taltum FC's Flavio Cifuentes. But to his dismay, Flavio Cifuentes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Caicedo Arrugueta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Cifuentes went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the match, New Team's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Cifuentes came free, but Caicedo Arrugueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Tufiño scored 0-7 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caicedo Arrugueta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caicedo Arrugueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Cifuentes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Di Le Jun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Caicedo Arrugueta. New Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Di Le Jun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caicedo Arrugueta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcelo Cavenaghi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Flavio Cifuentes made the kick off in the second half. Flavio Cifuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Caicedo Arrugueta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 53rd minute. Caicedo Arrugueta was a little too slow when Flavio Cifuentes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-9. After 59 minutes, Cristobal Quiles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Team and the Taltum FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Taltum FC booed when New Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Quiles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taltum FC's Alvaro Cotobal was substituted for Marcelo Cavenaghi. Obregón Pardemanos scored 0-12 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caicedo Arrugueta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Team's goalkeeper Caicedo Arrugueta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Obregón Pardemanos sped through New Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caicedo Arrugueta. Caicedo Arrugueta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Obregón Pardemanos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-14 in the 78 minute of play. Obregón Pardemanos took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caicedo Arrugueta. Caicedo Arrugueta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-16. After some careless play in the New Team defense, Obregón Pardemanos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caicedo Arrugueta. The New Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caicedo Arrugueta should have stopped the shot. Obregón Pardemanos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Caicedo Arrugueta came out and tried to block the shot, but Obregón Pardemanos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-18 in the 92nd minute. Caicedo Arrugueta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Obregón Pardemanos in the 95th minute. Obregón Pardemanos spun around in front of the goal 95 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of New Team's goal. When the final whistle sounded Taltum FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New Team.
