The supporters of El ultimo booed when Sportivo Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villegas Ferragudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Ramon Ignatius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Montrell Harrell. Sportivo Ben Hur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Ignatius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th match minute, El ultimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Carlomagno to maneuver through the defense. El ultimo's Vladimiro Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Hagi in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sportivo Ben Hur defense, Ramon Ignatius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Montrell Harrell. The Sportivo Ben Hur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Montrell Harrell should have stopped the shot. Montrell Harrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Pisculescu in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Primitivo Chaime's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimiro Socorro was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Délio Toledo got free with Vladimiro Socorro in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Montrell Harrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Ignatius in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to El ultimo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Teo Cordero hit a great ball. Sportivo Ben Hur's Emanuel Hielscher was substituted for Délio Toledo. El ultimo made a substitution. Bernabe Lucero replaced Ke Xiang. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind El ultimo's goalkeeper Vladimiro Socorro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sportivo Ben Hur's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Witalis Maruda in the 69th minute. After taking down the ball on Sportivo Ben Hur's corner Witalis Maruda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladimiro Socorro quite easily take care of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Anselmo Lluis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Chaime in the 74th minute of play forced El ultimo's goalkeeper Vladimiro Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Montrell Harrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Primitivo Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Socorro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Villegas Ferragudo got a free kick in the 88th minute. Sportivo Ben Hur's Montrell Harrell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Ben Hur from getting a goal against them. Aureliano Henry's late challenge caught a El ultimo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Henry helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Celestino Nisio in the 91st minute really tested Montrell Harrell's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Jorge Hagi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El ultimo's Vladimiro Socorro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chants of El ultimo echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Sportivo Ben Hur had held the ball for most of the match.
