Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC Bruges's Xavies Muñagorri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Mancinelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavies Muñagorri. In the 5th minute, Edvard Slæggerup ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luc Van Hinnendael was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Gabbro FC from getting a goal against them. Alessandro Mancinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Van Kamp in the 8th minute of play. Alessandro Mancinelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mac Mon in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Mac Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvard Slæggerup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luc Van Hinnendael having to interfere. When FC Bruges's Mac Mon in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gabbro FC's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Mancinelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ken Brogren. Alessandro Mancinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mac Mon, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Alessandro Mancinelli made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Xavies Muñagorri sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Xavies Muñagorri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alessandro Mancinelli, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Van Kamp in the 23rd minute of play forced Gabbro FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Mancinelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wieslaw Wawro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Xavies Muñagorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Alessandro Mancinelli made a huge save. Alessandro Mancinelli made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Xavies Muñagorri sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Bruges's Bernardo Urtzi got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Nicholas Langsford came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Gabbro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicholas Langsford couldn't finish the play. Xavies Muñagorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Alessandro Mancinelli made a huge save. Edvard Slæggerup's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luc Van Hinnendael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Shane Corrigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edvard Slæggerup in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luc Van Hinnendael saved FC Bruges from getting behind. Edvard Slæggerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Bruges getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bernardo Urtzi hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvard Slæggerup stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alessandro Mancinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mac Mon in the 52nd minute of play. Alessandro Mancinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ken Brogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Shane Corrigan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Alessandro Mancinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Bruges's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Nicholas Langsford scored to the left of an out of position Luc Van Hinnendael, making the score, 1-2. Eugenio Casadei hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Shane Corrigan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvard Slæggerup might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luc Van Hinnendael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvard Slæggerup ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavies Muñagorri came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cemil Tanacan hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Lasse Kroner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavies Muñagorri came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mac Mon in the 78th minute of play. Alessandro Mancinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Van Kamp in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mac Mon came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Xavies Muñagorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mac Mon came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
