In the 5th minute, Dimitar Berbatov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montesacro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Giacomo Casanova made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylven Van Der Meeren in the 8th minute. Giacomo Casanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylven Van Der Meeren in the 10th minute of the match. Ben Dillemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo De Moor in the 14th minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes, Quirin Brauer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winksele 2016 and the Montesacro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Winksele 2016 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quirin Brauer to maneuver through the defense. In the 18thth minute of the game Dimitar Berbatov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winksele 2016's Ben Dillemans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Montesacro FC's Dimitar Berbatov made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ben Dillemans was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Dimitar Berbatov notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Winksele 2016's Ben Dillemans. Ben Dillemans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dimitar Berbatov took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ben Dillemans. Ben Dillemans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitar Berbatov in the 39th minute of play forced Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Ben Dillemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben Dillemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loco Palermo was the one to do the kick off. Ben Dillemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Palermo in the 52nd minute of play. Montesacro FC's Mathias Almeyda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ben Dillemans in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Winksele 2016's Ben Dillemans got control of the ball when Dimitar Berbatov tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Georg Söderqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Dillemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ben Dillemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Dimitar Berbatov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ben Dillemans, 0-5. Winksele 2016's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Dimitar Berbatov scored to the left of an out of position Ben Dillemans, making the score, 0-6. With his leg Ben Dillemans managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Montesacro FC's Dimitar Berbatov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Winksele 2016's Ben Dillemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitar Berbatov in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's Juliusz Julien sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ben Dillemans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ben Dillemans came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Montesacro FC's Dimitar Berbatov. But to his dismay, Dimitar Berbatov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 95 minutes into the game, Loco Palermo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesacro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winksele 2016 the free kick. Montesacro FC played a much better game than Winksele 2016 and deserved their victory. The Winksele 2016 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
