The tension between the AC Milan and the Talenti Roma Calcio players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Talenti Roma Calcio booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Scotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brun Hello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buğrahan Vecih in the 42nd minute of play. Talenti Roma Calcio's Christophe Rau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Dzik in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Buğrahan Vecih managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talenti Roma Calcio's supporters rose to their feet, but Buğrahan Vecih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brun Hello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrea Pugliese to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Buğrahan Vecih came free, but Brun Hello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Mark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jeremias Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Buğrahan Vecih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brun Hello having to interfere. AC Milan made a substitution. Dedê Oliveira replaced Hikmet Bahar. In the 66th minute, Andrea Pugliese got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Talenti Roma Calcio's Aurelio Piretti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brun Hello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 75th minute Jens-Åke Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brun Hello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felice Scurti hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Andrea Pugliese might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christophe Rau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrea Pugliese ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute of the match Vladimiro Modestio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christophe Rau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Talenti Roma Calcio's Mikkel Angelo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Talenti Roma Calcio's Christophe Rau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Talenti Roma Calcio from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Talenti Roma Calcio players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
