Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Van Kamp in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mac Mon came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Valerio Spadoni came free, but Luc Van Hinnendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luc Van Hinnendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerio Spadoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luc Van Hinnendael. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC Bruges's Fedele Baggio got a free kick in the 21st minute. Shane Corrigan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ariel Mourelatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mac Mon came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luc Van Hinnendael came out and tried to block the shot, but Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavies Muñagorri in the 31st minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavies Muñagorri in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Mourelatos saved Amboy FC from getting behind. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavies Muñagorri in the 34th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, FC Bruges's Ken Brogren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Mourelatos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán got free with Luc Van Hinnendael in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael got control of the ball when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xavies Muñagorri to strike the kick off in the second half. Xavies Muñagorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ariel Mourelatos made a huge save. Shane Corrigan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amboy FC's Zacarias Goleš was substituted for Valerio Spadoni. After 63 minutes of play, FC Bruges's Mac Mon made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Mourelatos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Alberto Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luc Van Hinnendael having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavies Muñagorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ariel Mourelatos made a huge save. FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Goleš in the 77th minute of play. Luc Van Hinnendael came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Amboy FC's Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán. But to his dismay, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 83rd minute, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amboy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mac Mon in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Xavies Muñagorri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ariel Mourelatos. The goal made the score 4-3. When Amboy FC's Zacarias Goleš in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bruges's goalie prevented a goal.
