Paso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oktay Eğriöz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Oktay Eğriöz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Connor Osmond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oktay Eğriöz to make the kick off. SK Mons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Rivas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Gust Van Dijck made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nick Daniels. In the 86thth minute of the game Denis Rivas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Mons's Connor Osmond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denis Rivas might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Connor Osmond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Rivas ran back to his position shaking his head. SK Mons's Connor Osmond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save SK Mons from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the game, SK Mons's Cornel Ulici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mira Pene made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Bogumil Czapski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mira Pene having to interfere. Paso FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
