In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ariel Mourelatos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonides Rosio went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lester Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 14th minute of play. The throw-in from 任竞剑 in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Amboy FC's Sture Raknes. In the 17th minute Valerio Spadoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lester Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Lester Serre made a huge save. Lester Serre made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Amboy FC were awarded a corner. Wang Hai went to the cornerflag to take it. Ariel Mourelatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Rosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lester Serre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Leonides Rosio came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Rosio couldn't finish the play. Lester Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valerio Spadoni made a kick off. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ceferino Cuervo was substituted for Leonides Rosio. Amboy FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
