After 9 played minutes SK Mons got a freekick which was hit by Gust Van Dijck. In the 11th minute of the match, Jens-Åke Sundström sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Connor Osmond showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. SK Mons's Connor Osmond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buğrahan Vecih in the 12th minute of play. Christophe Rau was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Trevor Eubank showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Talenti Roma Calcio's goalkeeper Christophe Rau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steven Puttemans. Connor Osmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buğrahan Vecih, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Talenti Roma Calcio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jens-Åke Sundström in the 24th minute. After 29 played minutes SK Mons got a freekick which was hit by Remzi Nuri. In the 31st minute Jeremias Mark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Osmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Talenti Roma Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Czapski came free, but Christophe Rau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christophe Rau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steven Puttemans's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Luka Van Aken hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Connor Osmond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Buğrahan Vecih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Talenti Roma Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Mikkel Angelo. SK Mons's Steven Puttemans got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chen Hai Zhi's late challenge caught a Talenti Roma Calcio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chen Hai Zhi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Chen Hai Zhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Mark to make the kick off. Connor Osmond made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Mark in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Buğrahan Vecih got free with Connor Osmond in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jeremias Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Talenti Roma Calcio getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jeremias Mark hit a great ball. Talenti Roma Calcio's Christophe Rau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor Eubank in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Trevor Eubank notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Talenti Roma Calcio's Christophe Rau. Christophe Rau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, SK Mons's Connor Osmond got control of the ball when Buğrahan Vecih tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christophe Rau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Ulici in the 72nd minute of play. Buğrahan Vecih came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Connor Osmond could save by the left post. After taking down the ball on Talenti Roma Calcio's corner Jens-Åke Sundström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Connor Osmond quite easily take care of the ball. Talenti Roma Calcio's Christophe Rau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Ulici in the 81st minute of play. When Christoph Van den Berch fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Mons's protests and gave Christoph Van den Berch a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Fabiano Palmucci got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 95th minute Jeremias Mark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Osmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Leif Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Rau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Talenti Roma Calcio's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Talenti Roma Calcio may have spent more time on the ball, but SK Mons were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
