In the 8th minute, Nicholas Langsford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavies Muñagorri in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Mancinelli saved Gabbro FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ken Brogren managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bruges's supporters rose to their feet, but Ken Brogren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Mancinelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Slæggerup in the 13th minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicholas Langsford hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Edvard Slæggerup ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luc Van Hinnendael was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alessandro Mancinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shane Corrigan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Bruges's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Edvard Slæggerup scored to the left of an out of position Luc Van Hinnendael, making the score, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Van Kamp came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Mac Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mac Mon came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Mancinelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Van Kamp in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mac Mon came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvard Slæggerup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Luc Van Hinnendael made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, Shane Corrigan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bruges fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 47th minute of the match, Edvard Slæggerup got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luc Van Hinnendael was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The wind increased when Edvard Slæggerup made the kick off in the second half. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mac Mon in the 56th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, FC Bruges's Mac Mon made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Mancinelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Xavies Muñagorri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Mancinelli was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Alessandro Mancinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shane Corrigan in the 61st minute of play. Edvard Slæggerup blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luc Van Hinnendael having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvard Slæggerup in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luc Van Hinnendael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ken Brogren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alessandro Mancinelli firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to FC Bruges getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Antonio Eggers hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mac Mon came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edvard Slæggerup's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luc Van Hinnendael was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Gabbro FC from getting a goal against them. Xavies Muñagorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Alessandro Mancinelli made a huge save. Gustavo Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Alessandro Mancinelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mac Mon in the 95th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mac Mon in the 96th minute of play forced Gabbro FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Mancinelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
