In the 6th minute Bogumil Czapski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Connor Osmond was a little too slow when La Rat got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Connor Osmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from La Rat in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves La Rat could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Connor Osmond however easily saved by the left post. SK Mons's Connor Osmond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Müller in the 17th minute of play. Connor Osmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Müller in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Puttemans came free, but Jess Carnduff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Alemannia Aachen were awarded a corner. Mateusz Rydel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Alemannia Aachen's Mateusz Rydel to fire away a dangerous shot which Connor Osmond despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Connor Osmond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luka Van Aken hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. With a little luck, SK Mons's Connor Osmond got control of the ball when La Rat tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Trevor Eubank made the kick off in the second half. Connor Osmond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from La Rat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Alemannia Aachen booed when SK Mons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Van Aken didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Thomas Müller notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of SK Mons's Connor Osmond. Connor Osmond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 59 played minutes SK Mons got a freekick which was hit by Steven Puttemans. Connor Osmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from La Rat, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Connor Osmond came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Alemannia Aachen's Thomas Müller. But to his dismay, Thomas Müller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 69 minutes into the match, SK Mons's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Müller came free, but Connor Osmond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateusz Rydel in the 70th minute of play forced SK Mons's goalkeeper Connor Osmond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Rat scored 5-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Connor Osmond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 6-0 when La Rat sped through SK Mons's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Connor Osmond. La Rat struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Connor Osmond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alemannia Aachen. An unexpectedly hard shot by La Rat in the 85th minute of play forced SK Mons's goalkeeper Connor Osmond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Rat took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Connor Osmond. Connor Osmond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 96th minute, La Rat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Connor Osmond was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alemannia Aachen fully deserved thier win.
