Nicholas Langsford scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ben Dillemans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alessandro Mancinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylven Van Der Meeren in the 37th minute of play. Winksele 2016's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Big Hulk in the 43rd minute. The corner led Winksele 2016's Big Hulk to fire away a dangerous shot which Alessandro Mancinelli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Winksele 2016 booed when Gabbro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lasse Eskeland didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Winksele 2016 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gabbro FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sylven Van Der Meeren was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Albani in the 52nd minute of play forced Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Ben Dillemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Winksele 2016 getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Big Hulk hit a great ball. Edvard Slæggerup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ben Dillemans made a huge save. Edvard Slæggerup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ben Dillemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quirin Brauer came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Quirin Brauer made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro Mancinelli. Gabbro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Winksele 2016's Ben Dillemans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Winksele 2016 from getting a goal against them. Nicholas Langsford received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ben Dillemans came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicholas Langsford slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 83rd minute. Quirin Brauer kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Although Winksele 2016 had been in control for most of the match, Gabbro FC still came away with the win.
