When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonides Rosio made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Leonides Rosio made a precise shot to the right of Brun Hello. AC Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Rosio in the 56th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Brun Hello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ceferino Cuervo was substituted for Leonides Rosio. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Lorenzo de Sarandi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
