Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustin Jităreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergiu Corcoveanu scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute Iustin Jităreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Corcoveanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Tremurici in the 15th minute of play. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Jităreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sergiu Corcoveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Sergiu Corcoveanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergiu Corcoveanu got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's Marian Covrig dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Corcoveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Emilian Lera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jamaall Padmore hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica's zone, Sergiu Corcoveanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal and Sergiu Corcoveanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilian Lera struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Demonde Jacobson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Jităreanu in the 76th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Jităreanu in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Karlus Waugh got a free kick in the 80th minute. Iustin Jităreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Iustin Jităreanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
