With an all-out effort, United's Horacio Frisco threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arif Chian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zlatan Gigant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Horacio Frisco made a huge save. Hong Hong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Horacio Frisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panos Paschalidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabahattin Erten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Sabahattin Erten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Panos Paschalidis went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Raden Nurwahid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Ernesto Vermudo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horacio Frisco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Partemi FC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eleuterio Mundo took the corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zlatan Gigant was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 50 minutes, Ulises Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Partemi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horacio Frisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Chian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chip Froggatt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Sabahattin Erten skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Horacio Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Chian in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, United's Hong Hong got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute 尤朋飞 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabahattin Erten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Partemi FC's Horacio Frisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Chian in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panos Paschalidis got free with Sabahattin Erten in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Florencio Oihan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Frisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabahattin Erten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Paschalidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Aquilino Peyo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. United's Rolando Bela was substituted for Zlatan Gigant. United's Modesto Peirano was substituted for Florencio Oihan. Horacio Frisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Peirano in the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Chip Froggatt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Partemi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chip Froggatt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabahattin Erten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Partemi FC made a substitution. Honorio Basajaun replaced Panos Paschalidis. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Partemi FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
