Dan Petrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Costin Ciorobîtcă, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of AC Milan Tigers booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Ducu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ianis Man in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Barbăneagră saved AC Milan Tigers from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Shi Li had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codrin Barbăneagră. AC Milan Tigers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shi Li was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Shi Li sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute Onurhan Çinuçin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Barbăneagră saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ianis Man in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Barbăneagră saved AC Milan Tigers from getting behind. Octavian Soare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Creangă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codrin Barbăneagră showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Shi Li recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ianis Man in the 42nd minute of play forced AC Milan Tigers's goalkeeper Codrin Barbăneagră to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shi Li did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Codrin Barbăneagră 45 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AC Milan Tigers's Codrin Barbăneagră got control of the ball when Shi Li tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

51 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Creangă came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codrin Barbăneagră showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Shi Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Barbăneagră saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Shi Li's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Barbăneagră was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Shi Li struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Codrin Barbăneagră didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galati Harbour Cats. In the 65th minute, Costin Ciorobîtcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Shi Li had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AC Milan Tigers's Codrin Barbăneagră played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Li in the 66th minute of play. Galati Harbour Cats's Mo Yuan Fan was substituted for Onurhan Çinuçin. In the 68th match minute, AC Milan Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Ciorobîtcă to maneuver through the defense. Codrin Barbăneagră showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 69th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Shi Li's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Barbăneagră was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Codrin Barbăneagră showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ianis Man, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Mo Yuan Fan. The Galati Harbour Cats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 92nd minute, Mo Yuan Fan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Galati Harbour Cats had won after a very even match.
