Sabahattin Erten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Perutxo in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes demir idmanyurdu got a freekick which was hit by Ulvi Nizami. Sabahattin Erten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Perutxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Prospero Perutxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabahattin Erten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Sabahattin Erten successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 27th minute, Ernesto Vermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabahattin Erten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halit Tomurcuk in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, United's Arif Chian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Selmo Illescas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Zlatan Gigant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Selmo Illescas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabahattin Erten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hami Eyüp in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 56th minute Hami Eyüp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabahattin Erten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selmo Illescas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Selmo Illescas made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Zlatan Gigant sent off a good shot on target. demir idmanyurdu's Selmo Illescas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save demir idmanyurdu from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the game, Zlatan Gigant recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Selmo Illescas. Zlatan Gigant showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. United's Rolando Bela was substituted for Arif Chian. In the 84th match minute, United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Bela to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nistor Conta in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabahattin Erten saved United from getting behind. Prospero Perutxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hami Eyüp in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabahattin Erten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Selmo Illescas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zlatan Gigant in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
