Shi Li might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Selmo Illescas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shi Li ran back to his position shaking his head. Shi Li could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Selmo Illescas made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, demir idmanyurdu's goalkeeper Selmo Illescas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shi Li. Shi Li received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Selmo Illescas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes Galati Harbour Cats's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emil Bartochowski who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Emil Bartochowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare did a great save. demir idmanyurdu's Selmo Illescas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save demir idmanyurdu from getting a goal against them. Shi Lis short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Selmo Illescas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 26th minute, Emil Bartochowski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare didn't even have to move. Shi Li could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Selmo Illescas made a huge save. Shi Li came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Selmo Illescas could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Mo Yuan Fan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Hami Eyüp came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. demir idmanyurdu's Selmo Illescas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ianis Man in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ianis Man in the 37th minute of play forced demir idmanyurdu's goalkeeper Selmo Illescas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Selmo Illescas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ianis Man, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute of the match Galati Harbour Cats got a corner. demir idmanyurdu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dan Petrescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Galati Harbour Cats's corner Dan Petrescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Selmo Illescas quite easily take care of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shi Li stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Shi Li made a precise shot to the right of Selmo Illescas. demir idmanyurdu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ianis Man recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shi Li's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selmo Illescas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Shi Li who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but demir idmanyurdu's Selmo Illescas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shi Li's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selmo Illescas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the demir idmanyurdu defense, Shi Li kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Selmo Illescas. The demir idmanyurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selmo Illescas should have stopped the shot. If Shi Li had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Selmo Illescas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Ianis Man got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. demir idmanyurdu's Selmo Illescas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ianis Man in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Shi Li's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Selmo Illescas was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Octavian Soare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Conta in the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Antoni Dembkowski hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Galati Harbour Cats had won after a very even match.
