Codrin Barbăneagră was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Gamus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Zoran Simović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Creangă in the 26th minute of the match.
