Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Edvard Slæggerups short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Fedele Di Prinzio scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. Alessandro Mancinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvard Slæggerup stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gabbro FC.
