Mauro Llanos lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 39th minute, one of U. de Tarapacá:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for U. de Tarapacá. Uriel Diaz Montero had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Feliks Drzewucki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the U. de Tarapacá defense, Marco Ruben kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Diaz Montero. The U. de Tarapacá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Diaz Montero should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Feliks Drzewucki made the kick off in the second half. Uriel Diaz Montero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ruben in the 52nd minute of play. 58 minutes in the game, Marco Ruben dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Fred Haney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lolo Alveal in the 62nd minute of the match. Alonso Venturino kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Uriel Diaz Montero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Ruben. Uriel Diaz Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Ruben in the 66th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Marco Ruben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Diaz Montero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Diaz Montero made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Izydor Czubski sent off a good shot on target. U. de Tarapacá's Uriel Diaz Montero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save U. de Tarapacá from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Izydor Czubski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when Real Kuskatan C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Costas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sezen Taşkın struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Fred Haney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U. de Tarapacá. After 93 minutes, Quentín Saravia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U. de Tarapacá and the Real Kuskatan C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card.
